The Art of Shopping

Spent the entire day shopping with mum. Love the buzz that's going around in all the malls. The increased activity...what's not to like. The words Chinese New Year taken together can be magical. People will forgive you for spending money on almost anything. It's crazy! People pulling out RM100 bills like they were nothing.

So today was a very productive day in terms of my CNY shopping for clothes. Stuck to the basic staples and investment shopping. Black shirt, black skirt and a traditional chinese top.

The top is gorgeous! High collar, side buttons and all. Fell in love with it at that very moment. So off I went to pay for it. They say that love blinds you. I must agree. Forgot to check if I could sit and bend in that shirt!! So when I came home, discovered that there was no way in hell I could sit through the reunion dinner eating and breathing at the same time. My dear white chinese shirt, we were not meant to be. With a heavy heart, I will have to return you tomorrow.

Now, now Murni...I know what you're gonna say about me buying 3 skirts in 2 weeks. So shove it :p hahaha...this black skirt is PERFECT. Wait til you see it...I'm sure you'll understand. Wish all my shopping days could be as practical as this one. Got the essentials that I absolutely needed, except for a pair of pants. So yes...after 2 months, still have not bought a proper pair of pants. Not my fault though, blame the genes.

Ahh shit, now I have to go look for another chinese top to wear for the reunion dinner. What a bloody hassle. Also need to get my hands dyed with henna. My best bet would be little India?
