This post will go to show that it really isn't the place that makes the person, but the other way around. Here I am surrounded by the most beautiful sights and yet, all I feel compelled to do is complain about my headache. Haven't been eating much, been drinking water like crazy yet it's never enough. This place is so dry and dusty it's unbelievable!
So then the first 2 days I spent in Delhi was chaotic. So much traffic, so much dust and sad to say, so much poor people. It feel a bit uncomfortable ignoring the homeless who come begging for anything you will give them. Many of the children follow you around for blocks in hope for a bit of change. They say once you give money to one of them, a whole bunch will soon be following you around. I feel really bad for purposely ignoring them but you're gotta do what you've gotta.
Up front, I must admit that India is not an easy place to travel. Not an easy place to be a girl either. And if you put them together, you get a girl travelling alone, expect to be stared at 12 hours a day! Actually, as soon as you leave the comfort of your room.
Neways I'm off to go get something to eat. Hmm...one more thing, my fingernails get so filthy all the time!! It NEVER stays clean.
