Drinks, anyone?

Well first of all, my apologies that you guys were subjected to that bit of emotional blunder.

Secondly, things are better now- minus the puking, awkwardness of last night and the headache of this morning. Oh...and the 10 page essay due the day after tomorrow, a page of which has already been completed. Woohoo!

This brings me to the issue of alcohol consumption. Some people can take it, some people can't. Fact of life. Sadly enough, I fall into the latter category. You'd think that after a couple of experiences, people would learn this but...no. After awhile, you'd forget and then wonder why there's a feeling of nauseous deja vu again. The happy, tipsy feeling of the world being a beautiful place is all fun and nice. The problem is that, for me anyways, it doesn't kick in until it is too late. So for that 1/2 hour- 1 hour of insane happiness and giggling, there is usually a price to pay.

The next time someone suggests a drink, I'm gonna say- no, thank you. For as long as the image of last night sticks, that is. Or say - no, I don't drink. You KNOW that they will try to persuade you. Then you can say - okay fine, just one drink maybe. Then everyone would be happy.

Last night, I went to watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It was funny. Brad Pitt is great as a comedian. Notice how he's shifting towards this now? First in Ocean's Twelve and then this? Anyways, we went in late and there were no 2 seats available together. There was one on this end and one on the other end. So brave as she was, this friend of mine asked for these people to scoot one seat over. And they did! It was funny to see the message being passed from one person to another all the way to the other end. This was while the commercials were playing. See if it was me, I wouldn't have bothered asking...
