A Day in the Life of the Mundane

I suppose what it comes down to is how you feel. About your life, about your work, about yourself.

While some people doing extra-ordinary things in life may feel insignificant and dissatisfied, others who live simply and in a rather modest manner may feel totally and completely fulfilled.

How does this work?

I'm confused.

Time and time again I have told myself this, there will always be problems and dissatisfaction in life. As soon as you solve one issue, something else will come up. A simple theory, yes.

But putting things into practice is way harder than it seems, I'm sure you guys know this. But why does it have to be so difficult? Why not just be happy with what we have? Why be greedy? Why can we not...just be?

Ughh. If this is human nature, then perhaps the supposed order of reincarnation is wrong. For it is a cursed life where there is no way of winning. What they're trying to say is that, you'll be miserable no matter what. How is being a simpler life form, ie. not having a conscious mind, not better?

I call the fungi group.
