Flattery will get you everywhere...

My, my, my...

Today turned out to be an awesome day.

Incident #1

Was walking to get coffee this morning (break time for school) and a man dressed in an authentic 'taliban' style outfit said something as he walked by. Thinking that he might need directions or something, I stopped...

Me: Pardon me?

Taliban Man: I love you

Me: Thank you *smile*

Taliban Man: I love you, I want to kiss you."

Me --> Kept walking...

Incident #2

One of the clients at work commented that I was cute. He of course asks every woman he sees to marry him. Btw, don't forget that I work in mental health. It was nice nontheless :P Let me have my moment...

Umm, having said that...I later kinda knicked him in the face while trying to help him shave...ummm people...what in heaven's name makes you think that I would know how to shave a grown man? Tips anyone? Apparently you can't hurt yourself with an electric shaver? Oh, I dont know...

Gotta love work. Umm weirdly enough, I actually do. It certainly is never dull and boring. You go into work everyday not knowing what will happen or who will act up. Ok, enough said. There is the little issue of confidentiality. This womps, I have so many stories to share abt work and volunteer work and school but at every bloody place, they made me sign a confidentiality agreement...ughh...

Oh, oh and today...this long lost contact I had called and was wondering if I would be interested in being on the board of directors for this orphanage they are planning on opening in South India. I was like... ummm lady...yeah!! Need to call her back tomorrow for more details!! How awesome is that?!

Once again, it might or might not happen, but who cares! The idea itself is appealing enough!! Ok I need to calm down...deep breaths...
