Yay, me!! Things will always work out in the end they always do! So *ahem* yours truly will soon be employed hopefully. Even if I don't get these ones it's awesome to have something to do.
Here's one for ya. You know you're really bored when job interviews become a source of fun.
Interview #1 : Youth Worker
Interview #2: Community Support Worker
In accepting these jobs I will be taking a pay cut from when I worked in Van but meh, I don't really mind. Number 2 would be similar to what I did before but #1 I have never done. It's cool that both these positions are within mental health and can go on my resume. They aren't my ideal counselling jobs but at this point, I don't have very much time. Five more months to save up as much money as possible.
The aim now is to save $10,000 by the end of December this year to go towards my travelling fund. I can do it!!
My friend K is doing 3 jobs this summer, so will I! The only thing is to effectively schedule things around. Man, I'm beginning to look forward to the summer. About time, holy cow!
The other thing I was preparing to do was to apply at Hotels. The other career path I would have chosen 2nd to Psychology would be hospitality. The idea of working at a hotel is oh-so-exciting! Customer service, front desk...whatever I don't care. Just the environment of being around people, happy people ie. tourists is exciting too.
Man oh man, the possibilities are endless. Wow, hotel management...hmm...if ever I get sick of Psyc, would definitely go into hospitality. Think I have the personality for it *GRIN*
PS - We're going to a Reggae Fest thing tonight, should be fun! Now where is my Red, Green and Yellow gear...
