Can't help but feel excited about the arrival of Christmas...am not even Christian. However, it is a season to catch up with old friends and to party! For that...I thank god :)
Went to visit an old friend today...someone whom I was really close to a long time ago. Think we pretty much lost touch for quite a bit. It was nice seeing her again. It's funny how some friends...you can just pick up from where you left off...while others...you get together to discover that...there is nothing you can talk about.
Perhaps it is all in the mind. Once we've made up our minds about the other person...our actions will guide the action of others too. So how people behave is perhaps a reflection of what we think of them. Underneath it all...everyone just wants to be accepted and loved.
So...if we open up our hearts....anyone can be our friend.
