The curse of being restless

So it has been 7 days since this self-imposed lock up started...and I must say that it has been interesting. You wouldn't believe the things that I have done in the name of self-amusement. Apparently the subconscious is also trying to help coz last night, I dreamt about this middle-eastern guy...hmm...no it wasn't an erotic dream...don't quite remember anything about it except for the guy :)

Oh Oh...good news, my brother and his wife will be flying back to join us for Chinese New Year. Hmm...at least I think it is good news. Weird that I should have to share a room with my brother again. Guess we'll have to fight for the bathroom, computer, car and parental attention again...like the good ol days...NOT! haha...funny that even after all these years, I can so imagine bickering with my brother over small things. It will be an interesting CNY this year, I'm almost sure of it. Not necessarily calm and peaceful but...interesting.

HMm..anyways, heres a list of stuff I have done to entertain myself this past one (more like a million) week.

1) Come online every 5 minutes hoping for a distraction

2) Walk around the apartment aimlessly

3) Watch soppy romantic comedies

4) Avoid my mum when she's in a bad mood (like today)

5) Wrote to NST

6) Read the newspaper cover-to-cover

7) Stare at the ceiling for hours on end...daydreaming of better days

8) Jump around to get the blood circulation moving

9) Resist the urge to bug people on the phone

10) Dusting my textbooks every so often while feeling intense guilt
