Recently, I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know many wonderful people. Some new friends, some old and some total strangers. You know what this means...FEEDBACK! Let's face it, we're all curious about what others think of us but are too polite to ask outright. Perhaps this is why psychotherapy is still popular despite its founder being critisized to death. Instead of trying to figure out how people perceive you day in and day out, why not pay to spend sometime with the person (therapist) and have him or her give you feedback on yourself as others see you...or as you see yourself. It would be a social breakthrough if we were to all start wearing a piece of mirror attached to some part of our heads. That way, when we're talking to people we can keep looking into the mirror on the heads of others...haha...actually...no that wouldn't work. There will be no conversation. We will just sit and stare at ourselves. So anyways, among the feedback that I got from people (no, I did not ask) includes me seeming really naive. And yes...I am STILL hungup on that comment :) Ahh...to hell with it all.
