The day which took off really bad but ended really well.

Morning

Ako bailed out on me. We were supposed to get together to make whatever we were gonna bring to the potluck at the park. Can't say I didn't suspect this was coming, though. It all started last night when she called saying - Paul and I had a fight.

Afternoon

Was gonna go to the potluck alone anyways, so at 1pm I checked the email for time and location. Haha...at this point I still had not whipped up anything to bring. Figured there was always the option of chips and dip from Thrifty's. Err...I hate it when people show up at a potluck with sucky/ unimaginative foods but unfortunately I always seem to end up in this category too :) So anyways the blasted thing started at 12 instead of 2 which I had originally thougt. So much for my afternoon plans.

Feeling really sucky at this point, I decided to go to the library downtown to return my long overdue books. Picked up 5 new ones.

Night

Went for dinner with Nic. It was a bit weird at first because she and I look so different. Everytime I go anywhere with her, people would stop and stare. Five feet seven, slender, gorgeous red hair and truth be told, she has things in the right places. While I do enjoy hanging out with her, and we still go to the gym together, can't help but feel a bit uncomfortable with all the men looking her way. But anyways we went shopping after dinner and it was tons of fun. I bought a pair of sunglasses while she got a pair of earrings. It was all good. I really enjoyed the shopping part.

So despite all the crumminess of this morning and afternoon, things turned out alright. I had an A+ day.

Ahh, plus I am the current highest bidder for a usb cable on ebay :) You gotta love ebay.
