A Finite Mind in an Infinite World

My mind feels overloaded. It is incapable of accepting the event of the day. I feel weak.

They say that nothing in the world is permanent and suffering comes from attachments. Yet the key to life is not to keep your distance from everything you could possibly love. What are we left with, my dear friends?

According to an old favourite saying of mine, life is like a game for which we do not know the rules. We go from day to day trying our luck, but once in awhile when we think we have finally figured it out, we lose. Then we pick ourselves up and go again. We are so stupid. Why do we keep picking ourselves up if we know that we will get shot down again before long?

Naive idiots. That is the way of the world. Nothing more, nothing less.
