This past weekend at work has been really stressful for me. So then come Monday, they called for me to go into work again and I refused. The scheduling person took it upon herself to let me know how much she did not appreciate this and I am left feeling sorry (I'm really hoping not for the rest of the day.)
And I have been playing with the idea of quitting my current job. There is only a couple of months left before I leave/ move or whatever it is...Which incidentally is another major decision that needs to be made. Perhaps it isn't just work. It is all this put together. I have 3 months to decide and plan for the next step.
Things I need to do before the end of November:
1) finish school and write the final comprehensive exam
2) complete the 150 minimum volunteer hours required
3) apply for graduate schools
4) have a job lined up in another country (which I do not know)
5) save up enough money for an air ticket and some spending money
6) take a road test for driver's licence
Think perhaps the one causing the most stress right now is #3. That is the most important. So then let's move #3 up because this is the priority and everything else revolves around that...
1) apply for graduate school
2) apply for various internships
These are my priorities right now. Where to start?
PS - While the idea of quitting work is very appealing, don't think I can afford to do it. Maybe cutting down my availability to 2 days a week would be good? Then again with working so much now, I'm still not saving any money. My bank account refuses to reach 4 digits. Ughh...
