Gratitude

Today I am hit with a sense of gratitude. Well, yesterday too. For the longest while I've been beating myself up for being tired all the time, especially at school in the early mornings.

Driving home from work one day, it hit me. Girly, girl...you're great!

For about a year now, you've been going to school in the mornings, work in the afternoons-evenings and weekends and when there's no work you're at your volunteer work. Wow!

And to top it off, I've made many meaningful friendships and working on fixing rocky ones. I've learned so much in school and from the people around me. School is definitely fulfilling my need for growth and learning. Work is also in accordance with my values and principles of life. Volunteer work is just...such a challenge coz I put into practise what's learned from school.

The upcoming travel plans are satisfying my need for adventure and challenge.

I have people to talk to when feeling down, I have people to go out with if I felt like it and I care enough about my friends and family to want to be there for them whenever I can. Things are going well.

Must say that most of my needs are met at this moment.

Perhaps one need I have right now is for a boy who is far, far away. Ah heck, life will never be perfect. Good enough is...good enough :P

Breathe...
