Spoke to both my interviewers today over the phone and it has been set up. I need only show up for the interview. I'm feeling pretty confident about both of them. Qualifications - check, a bright shiny personality - check <-- fake of course coz we all know what a moody fuck I can be ;)
So here's the situation. They have full-time, part-time...weekends. Lots to choose from. The thing is though I'd have to do the same thing I did before. Taking care of people with disabilities. The only plus to it this time is that there is a position at a house with people who have dual diagnosis. A disability PLUS an addiction. Woohoo!
No, I'm not making fun of people but it will be exciting for me. I've been wanting to work with addictions anyways. It will look good on my resume.
Okay dilemma, dilemma. There are lots of jobs out there that I can apply for but I will have to play the waiting game. From the time between sending out resumes and getting interviews, there's stale time. Should I just take the job (assuming I get offered it on Tuesday) and start work almost immediately? Or do I wait for a better job which will come but...just a little later?
