If you didn't know this already, my family is pretty musical. The male half of the family neways. But soon, ahh soon I shall prove that wrong.
Tonight we had a Birthday bash for said cousin. I bought him a tennis racket and he loved it! Yay to great ideas. See if only you put some thought into it, gift giving can be really fun. Now, what about Christmas...
So after an awesome dinner of barbequed chicken, fish and salads we headed to the basement for some sweet, sweet tunes. See, my dad was a drummer and my brother has sucked up all the talent in the family. Not for long babe, not for long. Tonight dad was teaching me some fancier beats than the ones I already know. It was awesome to feel the beat and...actually feel it.
For the first time ever, I so enjoyed playing the drums and hopefully will keep it up. There is nothing like music to soothe the soul. If you think listening is awesome, making music will blow your mind! Although I'm not good enough yet, imagine losing yourself in the beat and just hammering at the drums. Talk about stress relieve! I love how drumming is coming to me way more naturally than playing the guitar. Woohoo, no need to torture them fingers anymore!
