Is it my imagination or are people born in 1982 more likely to get married at an earlier age?
My brother, born in 1982, was married at the age of 22. Lucky for him, I believe they are still happy.
A friend of his though, not so lucky. She got married to a guy that she has recently found out will not stand up to his family when they pick on her. What can she do now? They can't very well get divorced right away. That would reflect really badly on her. Besides, she lives in the US while her family lives in Malaysia. Poor, poor girl. Stuck in a crummy situation.
